Setting Up Emby with Xiaoya Alist

📘Introduction#
This tutorial shows how to build the media library that 95% of people need at the lowest possible cost, so you can avoid being overcharged by the many Emby services on the market. If the completed setup already meets your needs. Xiaoya Alist is an extensive resource library containing audio, video, ebooks, games, documents, sports, traditional opera, and much more. It supports private deployment on NAS devices, OpenWrt, VPS servers, and many other devices that support Docker. This guide shows how to deploy Xiaoya Alist on your own server (VPS). The procedure is deliberately straightforward and requires only basic knowledge. It supports Android, Android TV, and Apple platforms; client software only needs WebDAV support.

A server (VPS). Approximate cost: an inexpensive VPS can cost about US$1 per month, some VPS options may even be free, and premium VPS pricing has no upper limit. This VPS is used only for connection and storage access, so it does not need especially powerful specifications.
Search Google or ask on the NodeSeek forum for purchasing instructions.
At minimum, confirm that the VPS is directly reachable and responds to ping. -
An Aliyun Drive account with at least 300 GB of capacity
I. 🔧Begin Setup#
Before starting, obtain three required parameters.

II. 🔗Server-Side Operations (Connect Through SSH)#
2.1 Connect through SSH.
See this guide, then create the directory.

2.2 Create the files. Replace the tokens inside them with your own.

2.3 Deploy the Docker environment. Skip this step if Docker is already installed.

2.4 Run the one-click installation script.

Choose the installation options that meet your needs.
2.5 Open the web page.

You must open the firewall port.
III. 🧹Configure Automatic Cleanup of the Aliyun Drive Cache#

To clean cached files automatically, you can install the Xiaoya Assistant option 4.
