Community Guidelines

📌Required Reading#

After joining an Emby server's Telegram group, first read all pinned messages and the Wiki help documentation.

🙋‍♂️How to Ask for Help#

The pinned messages and Wiki for an Emby server cover most issues you may encounter, so please avoid disturbing others unnecessarily. If you still need help after reading all pinned messages and the Wiki documentation, describe your issue in detail in the group, including your device environment, app version, network conditions, and other relevant information. This makes it easier for others to help effectively.

👥Group Rules#

Most groups (except those for specific 18+ Emby servers) prohibit NSFW content. Insults, religious or political statements, and similar content are also prohibited. Violators may be removed from the group.

🔐Account Security#

Keep your username and password safe and avoid sharing your account with others (most Emby servers allow sharing among family members).

🤫Confidentiality#

Do not casually distribute Emby server addresses or resell accounts, registration codes, or similar resources without authorization.

🌍Regional Connection Issues#

Some Emby servers or routes block access from mainland China, while others block access from outside mainland China. Avoid using an IP address from a blocked region.

🛑Usage Restrictions#

Do not download resources from an Emby server without permission. Do not access or use the server through abnormal methods such as crawlers, scripts, or DDoS attacks.

💤Inactivity Policy#

Many nonprofit Emby servers have inactivity policies. Accounts that remain unused for a long time may be suspended or deleted so that resources can be made available to active members.
